Every creature within range must make an agility save. The loser of the save will take 2d8 of bludgeoning damage and 4d6 of freezing damage. If the save is successful, the damage will be halved.

Hail turns the area affected by the storm into difficult terrain until the end of your next round.

Ascending ring cast effect. When casting this spell with a 5th-level or higher spell slot, the bludgeoning damage is increased by 1d8 each time you use a spell slot higher than the 4th ring.
